Cheapest Pursuit of Honor: A Novel

For those new to Flynn's books, you should read the first 3 to 5 books. They are really good.

This one is all over the place (a trend that is prevalent in his last 3 or so books.)
Rapp is annoying, painfully cocky, and Flynn (through Rapp) lectures way too much, to the point of absurdity. Good guys suddenly become 'bad', bad guys suddenly become good. A superb lifetime guerilla leader in a few minutes begins to operate like an imbecile...etc.. The leader of the CIA who used to be a force in Flynn's books is nothing more than a dormat now. Some of Rapp's arguments in favor of whatever he 'believes' in were written so badly that I often cringed.

Flynn should write a book every 2 to 3 yrs. He is way over his head at this pace of around 1 per year and it WILL cost him readers and eventually his book contract.

I am starting to believe that Flynn might have changed editors somewhere along the line during his 10 books. The drop in quality is staggering.Get more detail about Pursuit of Honor: A Novel.
