The story starts out as a 20-year old crime-mystery and picks up in the present [with love interest lost and rekindled]. And if you're a mystery buff like me you'll enjoy this one. The romance teeters on boredom but in a homey sort of way it keeps your interest. There's enough twists and turns in the story so that mystery buffs like myself couldn't figure it out.
