Ok I got these books thinking they were the ones by l.a. banks .So I started reading .They are all writtin in young points of view and not cool young but lame .Makes me wanna gouge my eyes out for starting these books. The next problem is they go soooo slow .Takes her the whole book to get a point out just so she can write another one and make more money .The stories aren't more than short stories with alot of filler words .Annoying .I don't recommend starting these books unless you like being slowly tortured and bored to tears .Get more detail about Burned.

Cheap Treasure Island
I thought it was a very good book. It grabs your attention and keeps it throughout the whole story.
The book it about a boy who has to grow up fast and take on a lot of responsibility after his father dies. The story is set in England in the 1700's and the young boy becomes involved with pirates in search of a hidden treasure.
He learns very quickly that not everyone is who or what they appear to be. He realizes not everyone can be trusted. The author does a good job of describing the characters and the narrator/main character, Jim matures as he faces and overcomes obstacles while searching for treasure with the pirates.
I think this is a good book for my age group because it gives many lessons in life and growing up.
Stevenson, Robert Louis. Treasure Island. Perf. Fredrick Davidson. Blackstone

Discount The Imperfectionists: A Novel
This is easily the most original novel I have read in years. It's a series of self contained short stories, each focusing on a member of the newsroom of an international newspaper. The characters include a past his prime Paris correspondent, an obituary writer who suffers personal bereavement, the hard-nosed business editor who takes up with a charming loser, and most hilariously, an aspiring Cairo stringer who is sponged off by a hardened war correspondent. It is all tied up in the most unexpected manner, as the indifferent young owner of the paper is forced to pay attention to his business. Rachman is a brilliant observer of human imperfection and in this novel he has made a virtuoso debut.Get more detail about The Imperfectionists: A Novel.
Save Matterhorn: A Novel of the Vietnam War
About 100 pages into this fabulous book you, and the men of Bravo Company, have already been through so much that it is hard to believe they, and you, can go through any more. But they do, over and over again, and you go right along with them, as terrified as they are but finding every step through the jungle or up a hill both mesmerizing and frightening. The dialogue sparkles; it feels authentic and not just because it has a fair amount of Marine jargon. The 10 or 12 characters that are etched in substantial detail speak lines that seem right for them. Liking this book is not about having been pro-war or anti, about liking or loathing the Marines; there is grist for all sides. There is action to be sure but there are people you come to care about and whose hardships and deaths you take personally.Get more detail about Matterhorn: A Novel of the Vietnam War.

Low Price Hide in Plain Sight
I liked the story's gentle setting among the Amish, though the main characters were all english. The gradual rediscovery of faith and love was handled with a feather light touch as fit the story's setting. There is much to like in this Kindle free-download romance. What kept me from giving this story 4 or 5 stars was some improbability in the mystery aspect. I found it rather hard to accept that 2 characters savy in things business and legal related would try to 'not bother Grams' or contact police or talk over repeated unsettling occurrences. The mystery just didn't grab my attention with all of threpeated incidents. Readying the inn for opening, reconnecting with childhood memories and the setting were all very engaging. I'm not certain I would seek out this author, but I would read a free-download without any problem.Get more detail about Hide in Plain Sight.
Lowest Price Give Me Fever
Ms. Bryant has done it again. I am one of the many who have been with her since Admission of Love and she has NEVER disappointed me. Can't wait to read about Diva Deena and the other Strong brother. Heavenly Match is my favorite, I would love to catch up with Chloe, Anika, Devon and Deshawn (hint hint)! This is another one of her books that I go back to periodically and read the especially good parts. As long as she keeps writting I'll keep reading.Get more detail about Give Me Fever.
