Cheap Treasure Island

I thought it was a very good book. It grabs your attention and keeps it throughout the whole story.

The book it about a boy who has to grow up fast and take on a lot of responsibility after his father dies. The story is set in England in the 1700's and the young boy becomes involved with pirates in search of a hidden treasure.

He learns very quickly that not everyone is who or what they appear to be. He realizes not everyone can be trusted. The author does a good job of describing the characters and the narrator/main character, Jim matures as he faces and overcomes obstacles while searching for treasure with the pirates.

I think this is a good book for my age group because it gives many lessons in life and growing up.
