I'm glad I didn't buy the entire series at once. This book was rather boring for the first 150 or so pages. It deals with the history of the family, most of which really has no bearing on the storyline. It was basically 150-175 pages (I can't remember exactly when it started to become interesting) of a family tree. There are way too many charachters (family members) to keep straight, most of which as far as I could tell served no purpose.
I found myself wanting to finish this book simply because I had already invested so much time in reading it. By the time everything was solved, I was rather disappointed. I wasn't surprised at who did it although the reasons for it were rather "crazy". I just wanted this book to be over. I ultimately did end up liking Lisbeth but not enough to read the next installment right away, if ever.Get more detail about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
