If you are interested in Henry VIII era try Phillipa Gregory novels. They are very well done and interesting. Forget this one or read just a few pages...that should decide you NOT to try to read this further. Strangely written. The whole novel is I Cromwell etc etc etc. I think we could have figured out that it was supposed to be Cromwell observing things. Love historical novels..hated this one.Get more detail about Wolf Hall: A Novel.
